African Drumming Workshops

The ECaT African Drumming- Jolly Djembe Programme

 

 

This wonderful African drumming programme has been designed to reinforce the outcomes of the ECaT initiative. Children are taught the real art of African drumming through the use of a Call and Response technique. We believe fun and laughter must be a core element of every session. We will work closely with staff and teachers to incorporate topics the children are learning. Although the programme has been developed for the Early Years Foundation Stage we are able to adapted it to meet the needs of primary school children in Key Stage 1 and 2.

 

 

This wonderful programme allows children of all abilities especially children with special needs to express themselves creatively through drumming, building their confidence and emotional well-being.
