BEAT THE STRESS

Wellbeing African Drumming Sessions

Working in nurseries and schools is profoundly rewarding, but it is also one of the most demanding professions today.

As early years settings and schools increasingly recognize that staff stress directly impacts productivity and retention, proactive wellness is no longer just an option, it is essential.

Beat The Stress, is our innovative, holistic wellness program designed to tackle workplace stress head on, providing your dedicated team with a fun and creative way to de-stress.

The Experience

During these immersive sessions your team will participate in a unique blend of active music making and practical mindfulness.

The Art of Djembe Drumming A hands-on, high-energy release for physical and emotional tension that builds deep team connection.

Rhythmic Meditation

Staff are encouraged to close their eyes and focus on the beat, inspired by the natural human heartbeat, which is paired with controlled breathing exercises to restore calm.

The Sensory Focus Challenge

An exercise where staff close their eyes and maintain their own rhythm amidst competing sounds, perfectly mirroring the multitasking demands and sensory heavy environment of a busy nursery.

Sessions are ideal as part of inset days, staff meetings or built into regular wellbeing policies

Jake Gould, Deputy Manager

Excellent session! We arrange a session of best the stress away for our staff team. We manage a busy nursery setting with 30+ staff and I can confidently say that the benefit of this session for our staff was invaluable. As a Deputy Manager with oversight over a large team, I can not recommend Mangotree enough! We have even booked the 7 week course for a group of our children!!

Ekaya Housing Association used the Mangotree Kids Drum Circle experience at our Black History celebration. It was super engaging, enjoyable and informative. The master drummer gave us a 'beginners session' in how to make a few sounds on the drum and we were making wonderful sounds as a group by the end of the hour. Excellent team building session!
